🚨INTRODUCING JAYDEN SMITH & JAYLEN SMITH 🚨

Serving Today. Leading Tomorrow. Carrying the Legacy Forward.

At Eternal Light Funeral Services, we understand that a legacy is not simply something you inherit—it is something you honor, protect, build upon, and pass forward.

Today, we proudly introduce Jayden Smith & Jaylen Smith, two young men representing a new generation of service, faith, compassion, and commitment to families.

Their presence reminds us that serving families is more than a job—it is a calling. It means being present when a family’s heart is heavy. It means showing compassion when words are difficult to find. It means treating every loved one with dignity and every family with the respect we would want for our own.

đź“– A Powerful Word for Serving Families:

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

God gives each generation gifts, talents, and opportunities—and with those blessings comes the responsibility to serve others well.

As Jayden and Jaylen continue learning, growing, and serving, our prayer is that they will always remember that great leadership begins with a servant’s heart. May they carry forward the values of compassion, integrity, faith, excellence, and respect while helping families through some of life’s most difficult moments.

The faces may change from generation to generation, but the mission remains:

Honor every life.
Comfort every family.
Serve with compassion.
Lead with faith.
Leave a legacy of love.

🕊️ Things People May Not Know About Funeral Planning

When a loved one passes, families are often asked to make important decisions during one of the most emotional moments of their lives. You don’t have to know all the answers—you simply need someone compassionate enough to help guide you through them.

At Eternal Light Funeral Services, we believe education is part of serving families. Whether you are planning ahead or facing an unexpected loss, understanding your options can bring clarity, comfort, and peace of mind.

There are important things every family should know:

* Making Arrangements: We walk with you step-by-step, explain your choices, honor your wishes and traditions, and help ease the burden.
* Cremation vs. Burial: Both can provide a meaningful and dignified farewell. We help families understand the differences and choose what best reflects their wishes, values, and circumstances.
* Pre-Planning: Planning ahead allows you to make your wishes known and can reduce difficult decisions and emotional stress for those you love.
* Grief Resources: The funeral may end, but grief does not. Support, counseling, and community resources can help families through the healing journey.
* Veterans’ Benefits: Eligible veterans and their families may qualify for burial benefits, military honors, burial flags, markers, and other assistance.
* After a Death: From contacting a funeral home and obtaining certified death certificates to notifying important organizations and handling documents, there are many steps—and you do not have to navigate them alone.

đź’š Our promise is simple: Every family. Every story. Every life deserves to be remembered with dignity, compassion, respect, and eternal light.

Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Beatrice Hurst

1941–2026
Gone, but never forgotten.

Today, Eternal Light Funeral Services joins the family, friends, and community in honoring and celebrating the beautiful life and lasting legacy of Beatrice Hurst.

A life is not measured simply by the number of years we are given, but by the love we share, the lives we touch, the memories we create, and the legacy we leave behind. Ms. Hurst’s journey was one filled with strength, grace, faith, and love. Though her earthly chapter has come to a close, the impact of her life will continue to speak through every person blessed to have known and loved her.

As we reflect upon her life, may we remember the laughter, the lessons, the sacrifices, the wisdom, and those precious moments that can never be replaced. Grief reminds us how deeply we loved, but faith reminds us that death does not have the final word.

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” — Matthew 25:21

To the Hurst family: thank you for entrusting Eternal Light Funeral Services with the sacred responsibility of caring for your loved one during this most difficult time. It has been our privilege and honor to serve your family with the compassion, dignity, respect, and excellence that every family deserves.

May God strengthen you in the days ahead, comfort you when the memories bring tears, and give you peace in knowing that a beautiful life leaves footprints that time can never erase.

Her life was a blessing.
Her memory is a treasure.
Her love will remain forever.
Her legacy will live on.

With deepest sympathy, love, and continued prayers,

Eternal Light Funeral Services
