Yes!!!!

Communication is not speech.
Speech is one way we communicate, but it's far from the only way.
A child who points to a picture, uses a sign, selects a button on a communication device, reaches for a favorite toy, or looks toward what they want is communicating.
Too often, we focus so much on spoken words that we overlook all the meaningful communication already happening.
The goal isn't necessarily speech.
The goal is connection. The goal is expressing wants, needs, thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
Every child deserves a voice, no matter what form that voice takes.

We wrapped up our 2nd annual Cactus Communication Club this past Thursday, and we’re already dreaming up next year!

Day 1 of Cactus Communication Club was full of storybook magic! 🌵📚✨

Our campers jumped into Storybook Adventures with hands-on activities inspired by classic fairy tales. We read, created, built, imagined, problem-solved, and worked together through play-based language activities.

From making story-themed crafts to building houses strong enough to stand up to the “Big Bad Wolf,” our campers practiced communication skills in such a fun and natural way. They used creativity, teamwork, sequencing, describing, requesting, and lots of expressive language throughout the day.

We loved seeing their personalities shine, their ideas come to life, and their confidence grow already on Day 1.

Happy Summer to everyone! I hope you are enjoying the extra time with your kiddos! If you notice that they still could use some support for the speech/language skills over the summer break we are here to help!

Ms. Crisy still has some availability for summer speech sessions. Take advantage of this opportunity because spots are filling fast!

Articulation and language skills can grow exponentially with a little summer support.

This summer, I’m excited to again be able to offer a limited number of speech therapy sessions for children who need support in developing and maintaining their communication skills. While these sessions are designed with students who receive school-based services in mind, they are open to any child who would benefit from additional support.

I’m also excited to share that I will have additional support from our wonderful SLPA, Crisy Rann, which allows for a bit more flexibility.

Session Options

In-Person Therapy

Sessions held in your home or a preferred location

$100 per 60-minute session

$95 per session when prepaying for 4 or more sessions (applies to both in-person and teletherapy)

Families may choose one or two sessions per week

Teletherapy (Available This Summer)
Best suited for articulation and language therapy, particularly for older children

30-minute session: $55 (limited availability)

60-minute session: $100

Please note: I do not accept insurance. Receipts/invoices (superbills) will be provided for all payments.
