✨ WOW Success Story: A Ride Back Home — Mr. Newlon’s Neighborhood Visit ✨
When Mr. Newlon joined our community with his wife in 2024, he brought with him decades of memories from the neighborhood just up the hill, where they had built their home together.
During a conversation with our Maintenance Assistant, Mr. Newlon shared how much he missed seeing his former home and the familiar streets he once knew so well. That conversation inspired our team to find a way to make a special visit possible. 💛
With a little planning and teamwork, Mr. Newlon set off on a golf cart ride through his old neighborhood. Along the way, he pointed out his sister’s former home, familiar landmarks, and places filled with memories while also taking in all the new homes and developments that had appeared over the years. 🏡✨
The outing gave Mr. Newlon the opportunity to revisit a meaningful part of his life and share those memories with the team members who accompanied him.
And, of course, he made it back just in time for happy hour, where he enjoyed a celebratory bourbon and shared stories from his adventure! 🥃😊
