When I first came to Agape, all I had were the clothes on my back but the staff and other members of this program welcomed me with open arms; making sure I had everything I needed to plant my feet into recovery. The staff treats everyone with respect and dignity. This is hands down one of the best sober living in town.
UPDATE: I've been here for about 8 months give or take and I just wanted to share my experience because it has been nothing but positive. Jeff (the owner) is a very cool dude who has worked with me on the rent especially until I was able to get on my feet financially. Sarah (next in the chain of command) is very patient and sweet and is extremely receptive and validating of any concerns one might have while they're staying here. Tanya (coordinator of the women's program) is AMAZING! She has a very kind heart and will tell you "how it is" in a direct, compassionate way! She holds each client to a very high standard of conduct and cleanliness because she tries to instill in us that we deserve that for ourselves in recovery. Carol (technician for the women's program) is an excellent listener with a very good sense of humor, who also has a heart of gold. She is a fan favorite around here who gives her all in all she does!
I have experienced an immense amount of personal growth since I have been here, I mean, whew! The transformation is like night and day. The program has worked with me through my darkest struggles. The more transparent I am with where I am at mentally, emotionally, spiritually, etc, the more the staff moves with care to make me feel safe and protected. They create an incredible amount of accountability to make sure each client goes to meetings, works closely with a sponsor, drug tests routinely, and has the tools they need to create a full life without drugs or alcohol. My relationships with my loved ones have never been better. I am gainfully employed after years of struggling. This is truly a magical place that I would recommend for anyone who wants recovery bad enough that they're willing to work for it!

Jeff Baucom, the CEO/President/Owner of Agape House Recovery Center was excellent at getting all of my needs met in regards to a sober living situation. I needed a place to live upon my release from incarceration. Jeff seemlessly got me into his establishment on day one of release.

Once there, the staff assisted me with getting set up in order to succeed. The first 30 days were intensive in terms of establishing to strong sober network, by attending AA meetings, Bible Study, Peer groups and weekly activities.

The living enviroment is very comfortable, with all new furniture, access to a pool and gym, and spacious parking for those who have vehicles.

The lead coordinator, Cody, is one of the coolest guys i've ever met, and I'm not just saying that; he is genuinely a good dude and communicates and coordinates very effectively.

My stay lasted for about 5 months, and I worked the 12 steps of AA, got a good job, a new car, and was able to get my own place, all with the guidance of the staff at Agape and them holding me accountable for my actions.

P.S. Agape does monthly group outings and they actually took the entire group to a Braves game!!! We also did bowling and whirleyball during my stay.
