Join us for our Back to School Wheelchair Parade!

Our residents, staff, and hospice team have been hard at work decorating wheelchairs for a fun-filled parade celebrating the new school year. We'll be joined by children and teachers from the YMCA, who will help judge their favorite creations and share in the excitement.

The community is invited to attend, cheer on our participants, and help make a difference by bringing donations of back-to-school supplies for local YMCA students. Every donation helps set a child up for a successful school year.

We want to make our families, residents, and community aware of an issue we are currently experiencing with our phone system.

Some individuals may receive an automated phone call incorrectly stating that there is an emergency at Harmar Place. Please know that there is NO emergency at our facility. Our residents and staff are safe, and daily operations are continuing as normal.

Our phone provider is aware of the issue and is actively working to resolve it. While these automated calls are being sent in error, our facility phones remain fully operational.

We apologize for any concern or confusion this may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get this resolved. We will provide updates as needed.

During the month of July, Harmar Place held a fundraiser to benefit the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. Thanks to the generosity of our residents, families, and staff, it was a huge success! Today, we had the pleasure of delivering all of the donated items.

Of course, the highlight of our visit was meeting two of the sweetest new friends—Ruger and P***y! They were absolutely adorable and reminded us why supporting organizations like the Humane Society is so important.

It was an honor to give back to a cause that is sometimes overlooked. If you're thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, we highly recommend visiting the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley. There are so many loving animals waiting for their forever homes. ❤️🐾

We love celebrating the people who make Harmar Place such a special place to be! 💙

Being part of the Foundations Health Solutions family has brought so many opportunities to grow, connect, and recognize the incredible people who care for our residents each day.

As a small way to say thank you, we recently hosted an "Inks & Drinks" staff appreciation event—and it was a huge success! It was wonderful to see our team relax, laugh, get creative, and enjoy time together outside of their daily routines.

To our amazing staff, thank you for your hard work, compassion, and dedication. And thank you to Foundations Health Solutions for fostering a culture that values and celebrates its employees. We're proud to be part of the Foundations family and look forward to many more memorable moments together!

🎄🎁 Christmas in July at Harmar Place! 🎁🎄

The holiday spirit is alive and well at Harmar Place as we continue celebrating Christmas in July! Our residents and staff had a wonderful time enjoying a lively game of Pass the Present, filled with laughter, surprises, and festive fun.

The celebration continued with Christmas Karaoke, where everyone joined in singing their favorite holiday classics. It was heartwarming to see so many smiles, hear familiar Christmas tunes, and create special memories together—even in the middle of summer!
