Happy International Midwives Day 🤍

Midwives do more than “catch babies”. They protect physiology, create safety, and hold space in a way that changes how women experience birth. Their care is rooted in trust: trust in the body, trust in the process, and trust in each mother’s intuition.

This one hits close to home for us. Dr. Sam birthed her baby with a midwife by her side, and Dr. Mariah is currently under midwifery care during her pregnancy, experiencing firsthand the difference it makes to feel supported, heard, and deeply respected in every decision.

As chiropractors, we care about how the nervous system adapts during pregnancy and birth and midwives are such powerful allies in that. When a mom feels safe, regulated, and supported, it impacts everything: labor, delivery, and baby’s transition into the world.

To the midwives who advocate, educate, and show up with steady hands and open hearts, we see you, we value you, and we’re so grateful to be in this work alongside you 🤍
