The tragic violence that occurred yesterday at the Islamic Center of San Diego is heartbreaking. Places of worship and schools should always remain spaces of peace, learning, and community—not fear.

“We have learned from that at least one person was killed by a shooter at the Islamic Center of San Diego today,” the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) shared in a post on X. “No one should ever fear for their safety while attending prayers or studying at an elementary school.” See link below to read the full news article.

Homeowners evaluating security upgrades are increasingly asking what bullet-resistant windows for homes actually involve—and whether full window replacement is required.

Bullet-resistant glazing is not simply thicker glass.
