Hi there Fitness Family! This is Alex again wanting to talk about Crunches vs Sit-ups. While they both target your core, but they’re NOT the same! Here’s how:
Crunch 💪
- Small, controlled movement — only your upper back lifts off the floor
- Laser-focused on your abs
- Less strain on your neck and lower back
Sit-Up 🏋️
- Full range of motion — you come all the way up
- Engages abs AND hip flexors
- Burns more calories per rep
So which one should you do? If you want pure ab isolation → go with crunches. If you want a fuller core workout → sit-ups are your move.
The best workout? The one you’re actually doing consistently. 😤
