You’re not losing your edge. Your body changed.

And if you’re a high-achieving woman, that can be a terrifying realization.

Because you’re used to being sharp. Productive. Decisive. The woman who gets s**t done.

So when brain fog has you staring at the same spreadsheet for an hour, you don’t need another productivity hack.

You need to understand what changed and what to do differently.

That’s the work I do inside Hormone Hacker.

DM me HORMONE if you want to see whether it’s the right fit for you.

You don’t need to work harder. You need a strategy that works with your body.

Last week, my body reminded me she’s got her own rhythm. I learned I bloat around ovulation, just like my period.

And a hidden sodium performance snack taught me that natural doesn’t mean perfect. But what’s thrilling?

My waist is nearly under 30 inches, hormone and semaglutide free. I am carry a little water in my abdomen from the extra carbs for yesterday run but that’s ok. lol. My abs are coming in 😍

This week I’ll be continuing to track the things that help shrink my waist in late perimenopause and what’s working to reduce cellulite, what’s helping my disappearing mom arms and what continues to keep my symptoms to a minimum or at bay. All Naturally…

And for my birthday month in September, I’ll be stepping away from weight loss & into intuitive living.

That means sweet potato brownies on Saturdays, a long run on Sunday, and trusting my body to lead.

Perimenopause isn’t the end of joy; it’s the start of a new kind of balance.

Did you know, it’s been scientifically proven if you master this in perimenopause, that menopause is more of a breeze!

What’s one small treat that makes you feel free? Share below, let’s celebrate the freedom we’re building!

Hot flashes. Night sweats. Brain fog. Low libido. Mood swings.

Tricia wasn’t lacking information.

She had plenty of it.

She was piecing together different programs, advice from social media, posts, groups, and everything else she could find that seemed like it might help.

But her weight had stalled.

And this is where I see so many women get frustrated.

They’re trying.

They’re researching.

They’re collecting information.

They’re doing all the things.

But they’re not necessarily following a strategy that was actually built around them.

So we changed that.

I customized Tricia’s approach around her, rather than having her continue piecing together everyone else’s advice.

And she broke her plateau.

She’s now on her way to walking into ONEDERLAND!!

And there’s another change that matters:

Her heat is now rare and manageable. She doesn’t experience the full hot flashes she was experiencing before. Sometimes she gets a little warm, but it’s manageable.

This is why I don’t believe the answer is always “try harder.”

Sometimes you need to stop collecting more information and follow a plan built for your body!

What actually applies to YOU?

That’s the work we do inside Hormone Hacker.

If you’re stuck with your weight, symptoms, energy, or you’re simply tired of piecing together advice from everywhere and hoping something finally works...

DM me HORMONE.

I’ll ask you a few questions and we’ll figure out whether Hormone Hacker is the right next step for you.

Last week, I told you my twenty something nephews recruited me, their almost 51-year-old aunt to run their first half marathon with them.

You know I accepted right!!! lol.

Today’s half marathon training run was 6 miles, and I finished it in the same time I did 5.5 miles last week!

The progress feels amazing even though I’m not totally focused on time at the moment. Right now, I’m focusing on getting my body to complete the mileage without injury, then we’ll focus on time as a natural progression. I will naturally get faster the more I train.

I also focused on my form, driving my knees up and finding that runner’s high. But this week, I hit some discomfort…my feet, calves, & glutes were all talking back. It’s a sign I need to fine tune my fueling. So, this week, I’m tracking my pre/post-run carbs and recovery.

I’m learning that in perimenopause, it’s not about pushing harder all of the time, it’s about listening, adjusting, and tracking what helps me accomplish my goals & keep going.

Follow along as I keep training for the Rocky Run half marathon this fall.

I really thought I might have to give up running earlier this year.

Being in perimenopause and basically over 50, my knees started talking back to me and for a minute, I wondered if this was just one of those things that happens in midlife.

but giving up something I love wasn’t the answer I wanted.

So I started paying closer attention. You know, kind of the way I do everything. I worked on my running form. I focused on driving my knees up, keeping my eyes forward and being intentional about how I was moving.

I also make sure I am strengthening the muscles that should be doing the work instead of asking my knees to do it all.

And on this run?

I beat my previous time by almost 3 minutes, pain free. That felt incredible. Not just because of the time. Because I realized I don’t have to stop doing the things I love just because my body is changing.

I can learn, my body, I can adjust. I can get stronger and I can keep going.

That’s what I want women to know about midlife; we don’t have to shrink our lives to fit our changing bodies.

We can learn how to work with them. Have you ever had to give up something you love because of knee pain? Let me know. 👇🏾

Her: “What are you taking for weight loss in perimenopause?”

Me: I’m taking 145g of protein, 70g of fat, 120g of carbs, 3 strength sessions, 3 metabolic workouts, 1 mobility day. And the only side effect is feeling incredible.

No extreme restriction, no starving, no cutting out real food, just giving your body the exact raw materials it needs to keep symptoms pretty non existent, make key hormones and thrive.

BTW, I’ll be 51 in 7 weeks.

Are you currently focusing on nourishing your body, or are you still trapped in the restriction cycle? Let’s talk in the comments 👇

Perimenopause didn’t stop me… It changed how I play. 🏓

Today I won my first Pickleball game💃🏿. And honestly…

That wasn’t even the best part.

The best part was spending 2 1/2 hours moving my body, laughing with people I’ve grown to love playing with every week, and walking off the court feeling grateful for what my body can still do.

Sure…

At almost 51, recovery looks a little different.

Compression socks.

Ice on my knees.

Extra protein.

Prioritizing sleep, and recovery.

Those have become part of the routine.

But here’s what I love about pickleball: it checks so many boxes for supporting my body in perimenopause …

I’m moving in a way that helps me build strength, supports my bone health, protect my muscles, and support my metabolic and hormonal health.

It’s about learning how to support our body at this stage so we can keep doing the things we love.

That’s what the season of life has taught me.

Not to do less.

To recover smarter.

To move intentionally.

To build strength

To protect my energy.

Because I’m not training for next summer.

I’m training for the next 30 years.

And if I can help more women discover that movement that supports your hormones can become something they can look forward to instead of something to dread….

 that’s a bigger win than today’s game.

What’s one activity you hope you’re still doing 20 years from now?
