☀️ Summer appointments are filling, but there are still plenty of openings available!

As summer winds down, I wanted to let everyone know that I still have good availability before my summer schedule comes to an end.

📅 Summer hours end at the close of business on August 24.

Once the school year begins, my availability changes to accommodate my work as a school psychologist:

🕓 School Year Hours
• Monday–Friday: Appointments beginning after 4:00 PM
• Weekend appointments may be available by request.

If you've been thinking about scheduling an evaluation for concerns related to ADHD, autism, learning disabilities (dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia), anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, or school-related challenges, now is a great time to get on the schedule while daytime appointments are still available.

As many of you know, helping children, families, and schools thrive is at the heart of everything I do. As Thriving Rivers School Psychological and Educational Services continues to grow, I'm excited to introduce something new that I hope will become a valuable resource for families throughout the school year.

📢 Important Insurance Update

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Thriving Rivers School Psychological and Educational Services is no longer able to accept The Health Plan or Medical Mutual insurance plans at this time.

We understand that insurance changes can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our commitment to providing high-quality psychological and educational services remains unchanged.

For families seeking evaluations, we continue to offer private-pay psychoeducational and diagnostic evaluations, including assessments for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), anxiety, depression, and other educational and mental health concerns.

To help make evaluations more accessible, we offer flexible payment plans. Only 50% of the evaluation fee is required to begin the evaluation process, with the remaining balance able to be paid over time according to an agreed-upon payment schedule.

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted, but behind the scenes, Thriving Rivers has been busy supporting students, families, and schools across the region.

Over the past several months, I’ve had the privilege of helping children better understand how they learn, supporting families through challenging moments, and collaborating with schools and the community to build stronger supports for students.

This work matters deeply to me, and I'm thankful to be part of so many students’ journeys.
