GoldenPeach Companions is seeking a highly reliable, accountable Part-Time Caregiver / Companion who takes pride in showing up on time and honoring their schedule. This role is ideal for someone who understands that consistency and dependability are critical in caregiving, where clients rely on you daily.
This is a low-hour (6 hours - 12 hours per week) but high-responsibility position. We are specifically looking for caregivers who:
Arrive on time, every time
Communicate early and proactively
Do not call out last minute unless it is a true emergency
If you value professionalism, accountability, and being someone families can depend on, this is a strong opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Key Expectations (Read Carefully)
Punctuality is non-negotiable — late arrivals and missed shifts directly impact client care
Last-minute call-outs are not acceptable except in verified emergencies
Clear, timely communication is required for any scheduling concerns
Caregivers are expected to take ownership of their schedule and responsibilities
Responsibilities
Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a positive and engaging environment
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide medication reminders and follow care plans in compliance with HIPAA
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a clean space
Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior
Safely assist with transfers and mobility (including use of equipment if needed)
Follow all safety procedures including CPR and first aid protocols
Requirements
Prior caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, nursing home, or similar) strongly preferred
Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or developmental disabilities is a plus
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong understanding of professionalism, time management, and accountability
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting with mobility
Strong communication skills and respect for client confidentiality
Who This Role Is For
This position is for caregivers who:
Take pride in being dependable and professional
Understand that showing up matters just as much as caregiving skills
Want to build a reputation as someone families and agencies can trust
If you are someone who shows up, follows through, and takes accountability seriously—we want to hear from you.
