🌿 Exciting News — A New Chapter Begins! 🌿
After nearly 10 years of serving our community, Christine Nicklaus, MS, MS-Ed, NCC, LPC, is taking a step toward retirement and passing the torch of ownership of Nicklaus Counseling Center to longtime colleague Ivy Sutek, CSAC, CADC, CSIT.
Beginning Monday, August 31, Nicklaus Counseling Center will become Peace Counseling & Support Services, LLC, under Ivy’s leadership. 💚
While our name and ownership are changing, our commitment to our community is not. The same caring team will continue providing the quality mental health and substance abuse counseling services you know and trust, along with some exciting new additions that will allow us to expand the services we offer throughout Marinette and Menominee Counties.
And we’re especially happy to share that Christine isn’t going far! She will continue with Peace Counseling as an Independent Contractor, providing counseling services and clinical supervision to new professionals entering the field.
Our goal throughout this transition has been simple: continuity of care for our clients with as little disruption as possible. Friday, August 28, will be the final client-contact day for Nicklaus Counseling Center, and beginning Monday, August 31, services will continue as Peace Counseling & Support Services.

Please join us in showing Christine some well-deserved love and appreciation for everything she has done to support, serve, and lead our community toward a brighter and healthier future.
For nearly a decade, Christine has been a trusted voice in our community, advocating for mental health, supporting individuals and families, and setting an incredible standard for compassionate, quality care. Her dedication and heart have made a lasting impact on countless lives, and we are so grateful for the foundation she has built.
And please help us give a warm welcome to our new owner, Ivy! Ivy has been a passionate and dedicated advocate for substance use treatment, recovery, and support within our community. Through her leadership at Peace Counseling & Support Services, she is excited to build upon that work, expand resources, and take our commitment to mental health and substance use services to the next level.
Thank you, Christine, for the legacy you have created—and welcome, Ivy, as we begin this exciting new chapter together at Peace!
