For years, I thought I was just “stressed.”

As a pelvic floor therapist, I started noticing something that changed the way I practice: the pelvic floor doesn’t exist in isolation.

Our nervous system, breathing, muscles, bladder, bowel, pain, emotions, and sense of safety are all connected.

And then I had to face something personally…

I realized that I was living in chronic fight-or-flight.

It looked like being overly reactive.

Getting overwhelmed by little things.

Feeling like I couldn’t turn my brain off.

Having a racing internal world while looking completely fine on the outside.

Panic attacks. I was waking up from sleep unable to breath. That got my attention.

My body was constantly acting like it needed to protect me, even when I was objectively safe.

Learning about nervous system regulation through my work with pelvic health clients gave me a completely different understanding of my own body.

I began learning how to recognize my body’s signals, create moments of safety, regulate my breathing and muscles, and actually work with my nervous system instead of fighting against it.

And that changed the way I treat my clients.

I don’t just want women to have stronger pelvic floors.

I want them to understand why their body is responding the way it is and give them tools to help their whole system feel safer.

That is why I created Exhale Reset.

It grew out of pelvic floor therapy, but it became so much bigger than the pelvic floor.

Because sometimes the bladder symptoms, pelvic tension, pain, digestive issues, overwhelm, poor sleep, and feeling constantly “on edge” aren’t separate problems.

Your body is communicating.

And learning to listen can change everything.

If you’ve ever felt like your body is stuck in high alert, even when your mind is telling you that you’re fine, this is exactly the kind of work I want to help you with.

You don’t have to live in survival mode. 🤍

One of the best parts of my job is hearing a client say:

“I can actually feel a difference.” ❤️

A client recently told me that the Safe & Sound Protocol has made a noticeable difference in her anxiety and her ability to cope with everyday stress.

And honestly… this is why I’m so passionate about nervous system regulation.

Your nervous system affects SO much:

✨ How you respond to stress
✨ How quickly you can calm down
✨ How you handle overwhelming situations
✨ How much tension you hold in your body
✨ How connected and comfortable you feel in your body

The Safe & Sound Protocol uses specially processed music to help your nervous system practice recognizing safety.

It’s not about simply “relaxing.”

It’s about helping your body learn:

“I don’t have to be on high alert all the time.”

When a client tells me she is noticing that change in her everyday life, that is HUGE. 🙌

This is exactly what I’m hoping to help women with through Exhale Reset.

Less feeling stuck in “fight or flight.”

More calm.

More coping skills.

More connection with your body.

And ultimately, more ability to EXHALE. 💗

If you’ve been feeling like your nervous system is constantly “on,” send me a message. I’d love to tell you more about Exhale Reset.

What if your body isn’t broken… but your nervous system is stuck on high alert?

Think of your nervous system like your body’s alarm system.

When it’s been running on high alert for too long, it can be harder for your whole body—including your pelvic floor—to relax.

You may notice:
✨ Anxiety or feeling constantly “on edge”
✨ Pelvic tension or pain
✨ Urinary urgency or frequency
✨ Difficulty relaxing
✨ Trouble sleeping
✨ Feeling overwhelmed or exhausted

That’s where Exhale Reset comes in.

Using the Safe & Sound Protocol along with individualized nervous system regulation strategies, we gently give your body practice recognizing safety and moving out of that constant “on guard” state.

The goal isn’t to force your body to relax.

It’s to help your nervous system learn that it’s safe to let go.

And when your nervous system is better regulated, it can create a better foundation for pelvic floor relaxation, body awareness, and overall wellness.

💗 You don’t have to keep pushing through. You can teach your body a different way.

If you’re ready to feel more calm, connected, and comfortable in your body, Exhale Reset may be for you.

🚨 3 out of 3 pelvic floor patients I saw TODAY reported less pain.

Let that sink in.

Pelvic pain is not something you simply have to “put up with.”

Today, every patient I treated for pelvic pain reported improvement—and this is exactly why I do what I do.

Pelvic pain can show up as:
• Pain with intimacy
• Pelvic pressure or heaviness
• Tailbone or hip pain
• Bladder discomfort
• Pain with sitting
• Tightness or aching that just won’t go away
• Pain that seems to have no clear explanation

And sometimes, the problem isn’t that your pelvic floor is weak.

It may actually be too tight, overactive, or not coordinating well with the rest of your body.

Pelvic floor therapy can help you understand WHY you’re hurting and give you tools to help your body move toward less pain.

❤️ You deserve to feel comfortable in your own body.

If pelvic pain has become something you’ve just learned to live with, consider this your reminder:

You don’t have to.

🤰 Pregnant? Your pelvic floor deserves some attention, too.

Pregnancy changes your body in BIG ways—and your pelvic floor is along for the ride.

Pelvic floor therapy during pregnancy can help you:

✨ Prepare your pelvic floor for birth.

✨ Reduce pelvic, hip, or low-back discomfort.

✨ Address leaking urine or bowel changes.

✨ Improve your awareness of how to relax AND strengthen your pelvic floor.

✨ Learn positions and techniques that may help during labor.

✨ Prepare your body for postpartum recovery.

And here’s something many women don’t realize:

Pelvic floor therapy isn’t just about Kegels.

Sometimes the pelvic floor needs to learn how to relax and lengthen just as much as it needs to get stronger.

You don’t have to wait until after birth—or until something feels “wrong”—to see a pelvic floor therapist.

💛 Pregnancy is a great time to learn how to care for your pelvic health and prepare your body for birth and recovery.

If you’re pregnant and wondering whether pelvic floor therapy could benefit you, Exhale Therapy & Wellness is here to help.
