This career isn't just about the money to be able to paid our bills. It's about helping people be able to relax in their own bodies and help with pain management.

As massage therapists, we notice when our regulars don't come in for a while and we think about you guys regularly. We worry about how you're doing, hope your health is better and that you're not in pain, we think about how your family and even pets that you talk about, and even of how your work is going. Of course we would love to see you on our tables but we enjoy the connections we have made with you the most.

Nothing will prepare us for the moment that everything takes a turn for the worse and we can no longer have you as a client due to health reasons. All of you will be on our minds for the rest of our careers and even longer.

I got asked today what my advice was to starting a business.

Just start. Start small and work your way up but JUST START! If you feel that you want to start a business, do it even if you might feel like it fails because you can learn from those failures and start over. Don't over think it, find something you love to do or just love altogether and create a business with it. Costumers will pay for anything they need or want and you just happen to have it. All of these corporate business started somewhere, they didn't just pop up out of no where until they were ready to and had what was in demand.

I started with a room, massage table, sheets, and massage lotion with $500. At first I only had 2 clients a week. I'm going on year 6 and now I get in between 10-15 clients a week.

I love helping that many people be able to love and heal their bodies with the reasonable prices that I have because I know how hard it is to spend on taking care of yourself. This is my empire and I hope you find yours!
