Students, this is an excellent opportunity! This Fund was established many years ago to provide need-based financial assistance to students in Smyth County as they attend college. The award is one-half scholarship/one-half loan and is renewable for four years - assuming continued financial need, full-time undergraduate attendance, and a GPA of at least 2.0. Reach out to Ms. Looney for the application!

What a wonderful evening celebrating the Marion Senior High School scholarship recipients and Smyth Promise awardees!

On behalf of Smyth County Community Foundation and Smyth County Board of Supervisors, congratulations to all of these outstanding students. We are so proud of your hard work and accomplishments, and we wish the Class of 2026 many blessings and continued success in all that lies ahead.
