The highlight of “Western Day” was a visit from some friends from Prairie Patch Farm. Everyone loved meeting Earl the llama and Stanley the alpaca! We learned a lot about these majestic creatures and the residents asked a lot of great questions. Lunch was a western style meal of BBQ chicken, baked beans, corn bread and peach cobbler. And check out all the cowgirls and cowboys!! 🦙🤠 🍗 🥾

Wednesday was “Nature Day”. We planted flowers and veggies in our courtyards and patio. Lunch was a healthy meal of turkey and avocado sandwiches, mixed greens, fresh fruit and a “dirt” dessert. The dress up theme was to wear something with “nature” like bugs, birds, butterflies, flowers, etc. Everyone looked great, but Anita really understood the assignment! 🦋 🐞 🌳 🏔️ 🦅 💐
