What do the settings on Red Light even mean? Why does it matter what type of Red Light I use? Isn't it all the same?

It is SO important to know the differences in the Red Light Products you are using! We like to keep charts and maps at the clinic that help explain the different benefits Red Light provides, but when you are out and about and want to try a Red Light product on your own without the help of professionals, here is a little bit of information that can help you understand the settings of products, how they help, and if you don't see the product expressing the "nm" range DO NOT BUY IT!

Our Acupuncturist Jackie Bensinger is now Certified to teach Qigong! She will be teaching classes at Lifetime Wellness Center on Wednesdays stating August 12th at 9AM. She will also willing to have a Q&A afterwards about her services here at Healing Haven Massage Therapy including Acupuncture and Herbal Supplements.

What is Qigong?
Qigong was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. It involves using exercises to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health and well-being.

Is Qigong like Tai Chi?
Actually Tai Chi is a form of Qigong. Tai chi originated as an ancient martial art, but over the years it has become more focused on health promotion and rehabilitation. When tai chi is performed for health, it is considered a form of qigong and involves integrated physical postures, focused attention, and controlled breathing. Tai chi is one of the hundreds of forms of qigong exercises that was developed in China.

Would you like to participate in more classes than just once a week?
Jackie will also be able to provide Qigong classes in other areas in Marion (details TBD)
