Our residents enjoyed a delightful wine tasting featuring an assortment of red and white (non-alcoholic) wines, along with sparkling cider for everyone to enjoy. Paired with delicious cheese and crackers, it was the perfect way to spend the afternoon visiting with friends, trying new flavors, and making sweet memories together.

Laughter was in full swing at Colonial Oaks today during a hilarious game of Granny Pants! 🤣🏖️
Our residents put their throwing skills to the test by tossing beach balls while our Activities Department raced to catch them...using nothing but their oversized "granny pants!" 😄 The room was filled with smiles, cheers, and plenty of laughter as everyone joined in on the fun.
It's moments like these that remind us that you're never too old to laugh, play, and make wonderful memories together. ❤️

There was no shortage of sweet treats and smiles at our Colonial Oaks Cookie Baking Contest! 🍪💙
We had an amazing 15 delicious entries, and our staff, residents, and even family members enjoyed sampling each homemade cookie before casting their votes for their favorite.
Congratulations to Michael White, whose mouthwatering Pecan Turtle Cookies took home the top prize! 🏆🍪
A big thank you to everyone who baked, sampled, and voted. It was a fun afternoon filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of tasty memories. We can't wait to do it again!

Our residents had a sweet afternoon in the kitchen baking delicious strawberry cookies! 🍓🍪
There was plenty of teamwork, laughter, and fun as they mixed, baked, and taste-tested along the way.
These tasty treats will be entered into the Colonial Oaks Cookie Baking Contest this Friday, and we can't wait to see how they stack up against the competition. Be sure to wish our talented bakers good luck! ❤️👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

There's nothing better than good food, great company, and making memories together! 🚂❤️

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful lunch outing to the The Train Station Pancake House, where they shared laughs, delicious food, and plenty of smiles.

A special thank you to our amazing Activities Department for planning and accompanying our residents on another fun adventure. Outings like these are just one of the many ways we help create meaningful moments beyond our walls. 💙

Monday was music day at Colonial Oaks! 🎶

We always look forward to welcoming Brian and Mary Ross back to our community. Their regular visits have become something our residents truly enjoy, and Monday's performance was no exception. Residents spent the afternoon singing along, tapping their toes, and enjoying the wonderful music and fellowship.

Stories like Joe's remind us why we do what we do every day.

When Joe arrived at Colonial Oaks, he was facing a fractured back, damaged tendons in both knees, and uncertainty about what the future held. Through hard work, determination, and the support of our incredible therapy team (Creative Health Solutions) and compassionate staff, he regained his strength and walked out our doors with hope and confidence.
Thank you, Joe, for trusting us with your recovery and for sharing your kind words. It was an honor to be part of your healing journey, and we wish you nothing but continued health and happiness.
