Patient recently presented complaining of symptoms of occipital neuralgia. She was employing multiple treatment options, none of which were working. Patient stated that she had been dealing with this for several months. Upon history and evaluation, it was recommended that red light therapy in combination with dry needling should be utilized. An initial treatment plan of three visits was recommended. After one treatment, patient observed noticeable differences regarding pain and ROM limitations. By the third visit, patient was 90% improved, pain scales at 2/10, ROM restored, and demeanor joyful. Patient stated that she was starting to “get her life back”.
