I’ve taken some time to restructure my packages, what I offer, & the FAQ section!

You can now sign up for childbirth education classes. If you’re walking through pregnancy for the first time or need a refresher, click the website link in my bio to sign up. These classes are focused on teaching you about birth, postpartum care, newborn care, and breastfeeding. We cover what to expect in a low-intervention birth, common medical interventions, comfort techniques, & what happens after birth.

Walker Beside You is one! 🥹

I’ve prayed and asked the Lord to bless me with a career that I’m passionate about. Being a doula and childbirth educator is an answer to that prayer. So thankful to be able to celebrate and reflect on this past year with .

Thank you to all of my clients for trusting me and welcoming me into such a special season of your lives. Here’s to year two 🥂

A couple weeks ago I completed my Lamaze Childbirth Educator course! Over the past couple of months, it’s been on my heart to expand my business through education. I have such a passion to teach women and parents the childbirth process, learn their choices, and be equipped with evidence-based information to make informed choices for their pregnancy and birth.

I pray my classes lead others into deeper relationships with the Lord, seeing how beautiful and intentional He has made our bodies. When we are educated and understand the process of something, it’s so much easier to walk into it confidently.
That’s my goal: for everyone who takes this class to walk into their birth confident, prepared, and surrendered to the Lord. 📚🫶🏼

Yesterday I got to sit with a newly postpartum mom. 🥰

Postpartum appointments are always so sweet because we are wrapping up so many months of support and closing the chapter of prepping for birth (for now😉).

Being a doula at these appointments means listening. It means getting the long version of the story when I ask how you’re doing. It means grieving the birth that didn’t go according to plan. It means celebrating your baby’s milestones. It means doing your dishes. It means telling you how proud I am of you. It means making sure you’re okay.

What a joy to have the honor of sitting with families in such a special, holy season 🤍🌸

Quality birth support looks like:
- a massage in between contractions
- little reminders to eat and drink
- suggestions for position changes
- creating a calm atmosphere
- believing that you can even when fear starts to set in
- helping you understand your options
- dimming the lights
- counter-pressure
- teamwork with your partner

You deserve to be heard, to ask questions, to change your mind, and to FEEL supported. 💛

Even though this birth didn’t go exactly as planned and a c-section became necessary, it was beautiful example of the whole birth team all working together to provide the best support possible for these parents and their sweet baby. I’m grateful that I could continue providing care even through a c-section. Congratulations to this family 🩷
