Cruising back in time! 🚘✨

We had an absolute blast hosting our Classic Car Show here at Grand Living at Indian Creek! Even though it was a scorcher outside, we beat the heat by sipping on good old-fashioned Shirley Temples and enjoying the summer breeze. 🍒🥤

A huge thank you to all the amazing classic car owners who brought out their stunning rides for us to admire! As a small token of our appreciation, we loved handing out mini classic cars packed with Grand Living goodies to each driver. 🎁🚗

1950s THROWBACK: SHOUT OUT TO THIS BEAUTIFUL LADY!

Our 50s Week just keeps getting better and better! Today, we have to give a huge shout out to this absolute style icon. She came dressed to impress, rocking an authentic scarf straight from her own teenage years in the 1950s!

Talk about a real blast from the past!She rocked this vintage look so beautifully, but the best part? She told us to just wait until we see what she has in store for tomorrow!! We are officially on the edge of our seats and cannot wait to see her next outfit. What do you think she’s going to wear tomorrow?

It’s officially 50s Week AND Elvis Week here in our community, and we are having a total blast taking a trip down memory lane!

Here’s a look at how we’re celebrating so far!

Elvis in the House! Fitness is keeping the energy high with specialized Elvis-themed programming—bringing back all the king-sized fun after Elvis visited us last month!

Rock ‘n’ Roll Trivia: We tested our knowledge on the iconic tunes, legendary stars, and unforgettable moments that defined the decade.

Sweet Nostalgia: We hosted a throwback 1950s candy tasting, featuring top classic treats right at our fingertips. It was the perfect way to taste, learn, and relive the sweetest parts of the decade together!

Nothing beats good drinks, great company, and a little friendly competition!

Our residents had an absolute blast stepping back in time for game day social hour! We broke out the classic beer games—including a crowd-favorite game of "beer" pong (don't worry, no actual beer in those cups! 😉), tried our hand at axe throwing, and even squeezed in a round of mini putt-putt! 🎯⛳

The laughter, socializing, and throwback fun made for an unforgettable afternoon. Check out some of our favorite moments from the day!

Today on Purple Heart Day, we pause to honor the incredible bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who were wounded or killed in action while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Their selflessness and dedication to protecting our freedoms inspire us every day.

There are conversations and insights about life that you’ll only truly understand if you’ve served, or if you’ve walked beside someone who has. We understand this deeply—which is why we created our GRAND PATRIOTS® program.

Through GRAND PATRIOTS®, we provide a dedicated space for our residents who have served our country and their loved ones. We gather monthly as military veterans, active service members, first responders, spouses, family members, and students to honor, celebrate, and share stories that span generations.
