🍬 Traveling Back to the 1940's! 🍬

We had a sweet time celebrating the decade York Peppermint Patties were created with a little friendly competition!

Then our residents put their skills to the test with a classic Penny Hose Game. During this game our residents used one hand to retrieve a penny from the foot of each stocking without touching the opposite hand or arm! 🪙😂

There was plenty of laughter, determination, and a little bit of friendly rivalry along the way. We’re proving that fun never goes out of style!

Congratulations to our Resident Care Manager, Jenn Hayden, for being one of the 2026 Gerry Baker Hero of Healthcare Award recipients!

Named in honor of former HCAM board president Gerry Baker, this prestigious award recognizes long term care and assisted living professionals whose commitment to residents and co-workers goes beyond the already exceptional standard set by those in our industry. It honors individuals who come to work each day with a commitment to improving the lives of those they serve and making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Jenn embodies everything this award represents. She leads with compassion, integrity and has an unwavering commitment to providing outstanding care. Her positive attitude, dedication to our residents, and willingness to support her team makes a lasting impact every day.

Of course we had a watch party to celebrate this incredible accomplishment for Jenn. We are honored and proud to have her on our team!
