South Shore Place A recovery focused community of opportunity and support. In Clubhouse, members and staff work side-by-side to perform all the work of the Clubhouse.

Clubhouse is an international community that offers people who have mental illness hope and opportunities to achieve their full potential. Much more than simply a program or a social service, a Clubhouse is most importantly a community of people who are working together to achieve a common goal. By participating in the meaningful work of the Clubhouse, members build their confidence and gain a great sense of purpose and structure.

We are grateful for every member, staff person, volunteer, supporter, and friend who has been a part of the journey. Here's to 9 years of connection, purpose, and belonging! 🩵🎉

Thank you Marquette Lions Club for the generous donations to our food pantry. We're so thankful for the variety and how they were all in proportioned out bags. It was fun putting away the different meal kits; every bag was unique. Thank you for thinking of us, it will all be used!!!!

We are so lucky to have this textile art borrowed from Peggy up on our Art Wall! We love the colorful wall hanging as well as the dishcloths and coasters!

"I knit this wall hanging in the winter of 2025. I used some of my mom’s yarn, she was the one who taught me to knit when I was about ten years old. My sister, Pattie, sewed the panels together and added the tassels on the edges. Other things that I like to knit are coasters, slippers, scarves, headbands and dishcloths."-Peggy
