This May, our team is coming together for Mental Health Awareness Month. 💜💙
Each year, a few members of our team add a splash of purple or blue to their hair during National Prevention Week as a symbol of hope, healing, and support for those who are struggling, those who have overcome, and those who are still fighting. While National Prevention Week has passed and Mental Health Awareness Month is coming to a close, we want to remind our community that mental health matters every day of the year.
We're highlighting a local resource making a difference in our community by offering support, counseling, and care to those navigating mental health challenges, substance use issues, and developmental and intellectual disabilities: Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties.
If you’re going through a tough time, you’re not alone. You matter. And there’s always someone willing to listen.
