Pregnancy can bring a lot of changes to your body — but pain, pressure, and instability are not something you just have to live with.

Low back pain, pelvic pressure, hip pain, and p***c bone pain are very common during pregnancy, especially as your body adapts to hormonal changes, a growing belly, and increased demand on your core and pelvic floor.

Physical therapy during pregnancy can help reduce pain, improve stability, and prepare your body for labor, delivery, and recovery. Treatment may include:
• Manual therapy
• Pelvic floor & core training
• Movement and posture correction
• Exercise guidance
• Birth prep education

⭐️Pressure management starts above the pelvic floor⭐️

🥤We can think of our core like a soda can

• Top: diaphragm
• Sides: abdominals + back muscles
• Bottom: pelvic floor

If pressure pushes down or out:
• The bottom can leak
• The sides can bulge
• The system becomes unstable

(This is where symptoms show up.)

Good core function =
✨ pressure spread evenly
✨ breath + movement working together
✨ support without gripping

Give these exercises a try:

1️⃣ 360 Breathing on Hands and Knees
—think about breathing into your sides and back & let your belly soften on your inhale

2️⃣ Serratus Wall Press
—exhale as you press the foam roller toward the wall & feel your ribs gently wrap in

3️⃣ Thread the Needle
—inhale to rotate open & exhale as you thread

4️⃣ Heel Slides
— exhale as you gently draw your lower belly in to stabilize your hips as you slide your heel out and back in
