One of our Iowa River Hospice patients, Mary Abbe, completed a beautiful Monopoly counted cross-stitch project that will be displayed at the Iowa State Fair! 🧵🎡

If you’re heading to the fair, be sure to keep an eye out for Mary’s incredible work and take a moment to appreciate all the time, talent, and dedication that went into creating it!

A special shoutout to Iowa River Hospice Social Worker Jen Ford for helping Mary get her cross-stitch entered into the fair. 💙

🚴💙 What an incredible day at our first-ever RAGBRAI booth!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event such a success. We are especially grateful to Anderson Funeral Homes for allowing us to set up at your location, and to all of our generous donors and amazing volunteers who gave their time and support throughout the day. We couldn't have done it without you!

We love being part of our community and finding meaningful ways to serve and support others—whether that's caring for patients and families or cheering on thousands of RAGBRAI riders with a smile, free water, recovery packs, and a little encouragement along the way.

And how cool is this?! 😄 Our very own, McKenna Huseboe, was featured in the Des Moines Register, handing out free bananas to riders as they rolled through town! 🍌🚴 We couldn't be prouder to have such an amazing team representing Iowa River Hospice.
