🍗🥔 LAMBERT’S CAME TO GREENBRIER MEADOWS! 🍎🥧

Our friends have been talking about wanting to go to Lambert’s, but decided it was just a little too far of a drive. Well, our nurse Nancy had the perfect idea… why not bring Lambert’s to them?! ❤️

We had a fantastic lunch complete with all the pass-arounds, and of course, we couldn’t forget the THROWED ROLLS! 🍞🙌 Some of our friends were a little worried they might drop their rolls, but guess what?! NOT ONE ROLL WAS DROPPED! 👏 Be sure to enjoy the pictures of our friends catching those rolls!

We finished it all off with our choice of apple or cherry fried pies topped with ice cream! 🍎🍒🍦

Everyone enjoyed the food and left with full bellies and big smiles! We had such a good time bringing a little taste of Lambert’s right here to Greenbrier Meadows. Thank you, Nancy, for such a fun idea! ❤️

🎃🍬 A BIG thank you to the Center for Student Engagement at UTM for reaching out to us and spending part of your Halloween fun with our friends last night! 👻🧡

They dressed up in their Halloween costumes and passed out candy to our friends, and it’s safe to say they LOVED it! Seeing the smiles on their faces and having visitors take the time to make their evening special means so much to us. 🥰

🍔🍦 A Little Trip for Lunch! 🍦🍔

Yesterday, our friends took a short trip across town to visit our local Dairy Queen here in Martin! ❤️ We enjoyed a delicious lunch together, and of course, we couldn’t leave without enjoying some ice cream!

There’s just something special about supporting our local businesses and making memories right here in our own hometown. We’re thankful for the little outings that give our friends a change of scenery, a chance to visit familiar places, and another reason to smile!

A big thank-you to our local Dairy Queen for helping make our lunch outing a sweet one! 🍦💙

Even though Myrtie is celebrating her birthday at a different facility this year, that didn’t stop us from making sure she knew she was thought of and loved! 🥰 We picked out something special for her and stopped by for a visit because distance doesn’t change how much someone means to us! ❤️

On Friday, we took a trip to the pumpkin patch, and this afternoon, we got to paint a few of our pumpkins and get creative! 🎨🧡 It’s always fun making memories and enjoying all the little things that make this season so special!

We had the sweetest time celebrating Ms. Virginia today! 💕 She got to pick her special birthday lunch, and she chose pizza and a salad! 🍕🥗

Her daughter brought her a beautiful birthday cake and a special gift, and we also surprised her with a new pajama set and some Kleenex! 🎁🩷

Ms. Virginia told us that her birthday was “just another day” to her… but we have a feeling we may have changed her mind just a little! 🥰 We hope she felt extra loved and celebrated today because she certainly deserves it!

This afternoon, we celebrated our sweet Elexys with a bridal shower filled with all things she loves! 🤎☕️ We had a fun coffee-themed shower complete with cupcakes, cake, and delicious coffee punch! 🧁🍰☕️

It was such a special afternoon celebrating this exciting new chapter in her life. 💕 We are so happy for you, Elexys, and wish you and Gannon a lifetime filled with love, happiness, laughter, and plenty of coffee! 😉☕️💍

Our goal is so much more than just keeping our sweet friends busy or making sure they have a good day. Our goal is for every person who walks through our doors and makes Greenbrier their home to truly feel at home. We want them to feel loved, valued, seen, and like they are part of a family. 🥹❤️

And just as importantly, we want their families to feel welcomed, comfortable, and confident knowing their loved one is cared for and loved here at Greenbrier Meadows.

When a family member takes the time to tell us that something we did made a difference, it touches our hearts in a way that’s hard to put into words.

Our friends become family to us, and caring for them is something we never take for granted. 💚

We hope you had the BEST day celebrating you! 💕 Mary was showered with birthday love today, including a beautiful card from Jane the Card Lady, some special personal items from us, and, of course, her very own birthday lunch picked out just the way she wanted! 🥪❤️

And no birthday is complete without dessert—Mary enjoyed a delicious slice of red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting! 🍰❤️
