Yesterday Elijah had his ADOS testing done early, and today we reviewed the results. It confirmed what my heart already knew—he is autistic, on the moderate to severe side of the spectrum.

While it’s a lot to take in, I’m grateful to have clarity and an official diagnosis that validates my instincts as his mom. This opens the door to additional therapies and supports to help Elijah grow, learn, and thrive in his own beautiful way. 💙

Today we took Elijah and Daisy to the dog beach. It’s a gorgeous beach for 2 and 4 legged folks. This was Elijah and Daisy’s first time at the beach. Elijah loved it and so did Daisy.

Cheetos are life!

Elijah is working on crawling. He’s doing awesome with that. He spends a ton of time on the floor. He is also working on his verbal skills. He is now saying ba ba. He has been discharged from pulmonary.

Some of you know, others don’t. We’re moving back to Florida! We’re closing on our new home in two weeks. We need to be closer to family and have better resources for Elijah when it comes to therapy and such. We’re not getting that here. We’re also moving to be able to spend more time outdoors and doing all the things. We’re looking forward to new beginnings.
