Partnerships like these make a difference! 💙

Students and faculty from the Henry County Center at E.W. Grove Paramedic/RN Advanced Pathway recently presented an appreciation gift to the West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital Maternity Center in appreciation for providing valuable clinical rotation experiences.

We are grateful for their ongoing support, guidance, and commitment to helping our students gain the hands-on experience needed to become skilled healthcare professionals. Thank you for being such an important part of their educational journey!

Meet Jacob and Brandy Barker!! Jacob works in Radiology and Brandy works in Patient Access, and they’ve both been part of the West Tennessee Healthcare family for many years.

They’ve built a life together, raised three kids and somehow still manage to work at the same hospital. 😜 We think that makes them pretty special.

We’re glad the Barker family is part of our Volunteer Hospital family. 💙

Keep a note of your symptoms, cycle patterns and medicines. If changes persist, talk with a West Tennessee Medical Group primary care provider, gynecologist or urologist.

Memory changes that disrupt daily life shouldn’t be brushed off as “just getting older.”

Getting lost in a familiar place or struggling with routine tasks does not automatically mean Alzheimer’s. It does mean it’s worth talking with a healthcare provider, who can look for possible causes and help your family decide what comes next.

This World Alzheimer’s Day, a gentle start might be: “I’ve noticed a few changes. Could we talk with a provider together?”

Save or share this with someone who may need a way to begin. Find information and caregiver support through the Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Resource Center: https://www.wth.org/services/senior-services/alzheimers-resource-center/
