Still dialing in on what we feel, vs what’s real. We are focusing on stability and and core control. Good news, core control isn’t just anterior… it also involves his posterior as well. Understanding how these feel while activated and moving unlocks new feeling for the body.

Again, there are 1000 ways to get to the same goal, my guy here only understands the unorthodox way, and I love it!

We talk a lot about exercise at K2, but stretching is really where it all starts.

When your body is tight, everything feels harder. Moving, exercising, bending down, standing up, even just getting through your day.

Stretching helps your body move more freely, improves mobility, reduces stiffness, and simply helps you feel better in your own body.

You don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from stretching. You just have to have a body.

MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE!

That’s the foundation of K2.

Let’s talk about core stability…

* Backswing: The core helps control the relationship between your trunk and pelvis while you rotate, rather than simply swaying or excessively arching your lower back.

* Transition: This is where stability becomes especially important. Your lower body can begin changing direction while your upper body is still completing the backswing. Your trunk has to manage those opposing forces.

* Downswing: The core provides a stable platform for rapid rotation. Importantly, it isn’t just producing rotation—it also has to resist unwanted rotation, side-bending, and excessive spinal extension.

* Impact: Good trunk stability helps you maintain your inclination/posture while the pelvis and chest continue rotating. That makes it easier for the arms and club to arrive consistently.

* Follow-through: Your trunk helps decelerate all that rotational speed safely and maintain balance.

Your feet can only do what your body is prepared to handle.

The best players do not just master flashy skills and quick footwork. They build strength, mobility, balance, and endurance to perform at their highest level every time they step on the pitch.

Every cut, sprint, change of direction, and first touch starts with a body that is conditioned for the demands of the game. Train your skills, but do not neglect the foundation that keeps you fast, explosive, and resilient.

Great footwork gets you past defenders. A fit body keeps you performing from the first whistle to the last.

Some moments are best shared with friends... but that also means FAMILY must be included!

What are you trying to get better at? Golf? Tennis? Pickleball? Kickball? Flag football? Competitive hide and seek?

Here’s a wild idea, stop showing up with the mobility of a rusty lawn chair.

You can’t keep doing the same warm-up (or no warm-up) and expect greatness,

You’ve. Got. To. Mobilize.

Spend just 2–3 minutes doing a few of these movements before you play or train. Your joints will thank you!

In no particular order:

1. Banded Hip Pull Throughs
2. Stabilizing Deadbugs
3. Stabilized Internal Hip Rotation
4. Kneeling T-Spine Rotations
5. Lateral Leg Raises
6. Banded Squat to Rotate
7. Hip Circles to Kneel
8. Kneeling Thoracic Rotations
