This girl is 14.
The whole world sparkles in her eyes.
So much to be seen.
Life approaching
The brightest parts of sunrise
She loves all things big and small.
Saver of spiders and weird little bugs.
Delivers valentines to strangers.
On the heart she tugs.
Steely blue eyes with flecks of yellow.
That light up my heart like strong lemon cello
Sweet with a little bite.
A soft edge.
This girl has the world at the ledge.
And I know she will leap.
And I can’t wait to see her wings.
Like dragons flying off to see many things.
Gifted with intuition and magic.
Intellect and mathematics.
Kindness and justice.
And a literal-ness.
That tells the truth
With out giving up mystery too
