🍌🔥 Did someone say Bananas Foster?! 🔥🍌
On Thursday, we hosted our monthly Taste of Homewood with Chef Wes, and what a delicious experience it was! Residents enjoyed watching Chef Wes work his magic as he prepared a warm, decadent Bananas Foster right before their eyes.
The best part? Everyone got to sample this classic dessert served warm over creamy vanilla ice cream. 🍨✨
There were plenty of smiles, great conversation, and rave reviews. Thank you, Chef Wes, for another fantastic Taste of Homewood event!

Head Coach Jerry Albright spoke about the upcoming season & took some questions from residents. CHS student athletes helped serve ice cream sundaes & sat down for conversation with the residents 🏈❤️🩶

🌟 Sharpening Our Skills. Strengthening Our Mission. 🌟
This week, the Homewood Living Ministries Sales & Marketing team gathered at Homewood Living Spring House for our quarterly training and development event.
We spent the day expanding our knowledge through intensive education provided by our valued partner, Ledgerock Solutions Consulting. Beyond the learning, it was a wonderful opportunity for camaraderie, collaboration, connection, and plenty of laughter.

We are incredibly blessed to have such a talented team of professionals who are passionate about serving seniors and helping them discover the benefits of life at Homewood Living.
A special thank you to Roni Fogelman and the Ledgerock team for delivering an outstanding day of education, insight, and inspiration.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and strengthen our ability to serve seniors and their families with excellence.

🏈🖤💛 What a Steelers-tastic day! 💛🖤🏈

Today, our Independent Living residents traveled to the Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp in Latrobe, PA, for an exciting day of football, fun, and fresh air! The weather was absolutely beautiful, making it the perfect day to be outside cheering on our hometown team.

Residents enjoyed watching the players practice, soaking in the game-day atmosphere, and sharing plenty of smiles and memories along the way. Experiences like these are a wonderful reminder that it's never too late to enjoy new adventures and celebrate the things that bring us together.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this outing such a success. And of course...

✨🎻 What an unforgettable afternoon at Homewood Living Martinsburg! 🎻✨

Wednesday, our residents were treated to a beautiful candlelight concert performed by the Drella String Quartet, a professional string ensemble from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The music was simply breathtaking, with each piece performed to perfection. Combined with the warm glow of candlelight, the elegant setting created an atmosphere that made the experience even more special and memorable for everyone in attendance.

We are grateful to the Drella String Quartet for sharing their incredible talent and bringing such joy to our residents. Moments like these remind us of the power of music to inspire, connect, and uplift.
