๐ฅณ๐ฟ ONE YEAR OF EARTH & SERENITY MASSAGE STUDIO ๐ฟ๐ฅณ
One year ago today, Earth & Serenity Massage Studio officially opened its doors.
As I reflect on this past year, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.
To every client who trusted me long before Earth & Serenity had a name, thank you. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of caring for your body, helping you find relief, restoration, and relaxation. Thank you for your loyalty, referrals, encouragement, and support. You have helped shape not only this business, but the therapist I continue to become.
This year has been filled with growth. Through continuing education, certifications, advanced training, and hands-on experience, I have refined my skills, expanded my knowledge, and discovered the niche and vision God has for this studio. Every person who has walked through these doors has taught me something valuable, and I remain committed to growing so I can continue providing the highest level of care possible.
Most importantly, I give all glory and thanks to God. He has blessed me with the ability, intuition, opportunities, and calling to serve others through this work. Every success, lesson, challenge, and milestone has been guided by His hand.
What has touched my heart most isn't simply helping people find relief from physical tension (even though that is always a goal). It is the relationships that have been built along the way. I have had the privilege of listening to stories, celebrating victories, encouraging people through difficult seasons, and even praying with some clients through life's challenges. Many who walked through these doors as clients have become friends and, in many ways, family.
What happens inside this studio goes far beyond massage. In a world that constantly demands more from us, I have been honored to provide a space where people can pause, breathe, rest, and reconnect with themselves. Whether for 60 minutes or 90 minutes or 2 hours, my hope has always been that every person leaves feeling lighter, cared for, and better equipped to face whatever awaits them outside these walls.
This year has also taught me the importance of rest. I have learned that providing exceptional care requires me to care for myself as well. Finding time to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and step away when needed allows me to show up fully present and provide the highest quality experience possible for every client. Rest is not the opposite of good work. It is an essential part of it. Thank you to the clients who have encouraged this!
I also want to thank every person who helped bring this dream to life. Those who wiped walls, moved furniture, deep cleaned, assembled equipment, took photos, shared ideas around the table, prayed for this business, referred clients, and encouraged me when things felt uncertain. Earth & Serenity would not be what it is today without you.
A year ago, I took a leap of faith. Was I nervous? Absolutely. Was I anxious? Of course. Did I know exactly how everything would work out? Not at all.
But I felt God calling me to take the step, and I chose to trust Him anyway.
If there is one thing I have learned this year, it's this: If God has placed a dream on your heart, don't wait until you feel ready. Don't wait until every detail is figured out. Take the step. Pursue the calling.
Do it nervous.
Do it scared.
Do it uncertain.
Because if God truly called you to it, He will walk with you through it.
Today, I am incredibly humbled to share that Earth & Serenity is operating at full capacity. If opportunities arise to expand in the future, including welcoming another massage therapist to the team, those will come when the time is right.
For now, I simply want to say thank you.
Thank you for your trust.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
One year down, and by God's grace, many more to come. ๐ค๐ฟ Every season of life will be prayed for.
