Therapy Thursday đź’ˇ
Have you ever wondered what people mean when they say ABA uses “evidence based interventions”?
Evidence based interventions are strategies and teaching methods that have been supported by scientific research and shown to be effective through repeated studies.
At Bright Futures ABA, we only use interventions that have evidence behind them because our families deserve treatments that are proven to work.
This means we don’t rely on trends, opinions, or “what worked for someone else.”, we use approaches that have been carefully studied and continuously evaluated to help children build meaningful skills.
Examples of evidence based practices include:
• Positive reinforcement
• Functional Communication Training (FCT)
• Prompting and prompt fading
• Modeling
• Behavior skills training
• Teaching replacement behaviors
At Bright Futures ABA, every treatment decision is guided by science, data, and what is in the best interest of the child and family.
