The Mosaic Project is a unique collaboration of organizations that are concerned about the social and emotional wellness of kids and families in Union County. The primary goal of The Mosaic Project is to make it easy for Union County families to access activities and services that promote social and emotional wellness. The Mental Health and Recovery Board received a federal grant to supplement the resources that were already being allocated for kids and families and to create a new way of engaging people to be well.

WHAT IS MRSS?

The Mobile Response & Stabilization Service (MRSS) Team provides assistance to families and youth up to age 21 who are experiencing difficulties or distress and need immediate assistance (within 60 minutes). The MRSS Team includes a Family Peer Support Provider (a parent who has experienced similar challenges) and a Licensed Therapist who can respond to any distressing situation where the family feels they need help. Situations could include emotional or escalated behaviors, mental health challenges, substance use concerns, grief and loss, trauma, suicidal thoughts, transitions, truancy, parent/child conflict, and more.
