New speech and language services are coming to Stanwood!

Beginning next week, Stefanie will offer speech and language evaluations only on Wednesday mornings. Starting in September, regular appointments will be available on Thursdays at the Stanwood Community Resource Center.

Join Speech for Success and Knight Vision Northwest for a free screening day designed to support preschool-aged children and their families.

Free screenings will include:
👁️ Vision screenings provided by Knight Vision Northwest
👂 Hearing screenings provided by Speech for Success
💬 Speech and language screenings provided by Speech for Success

One day, SFS will be more than a therapy practice. The vision is a dedicated space where people with developmental disabilities can build real skills, train for real jobs, and find a community that truly includes them. We are not there yet, but that is exactly where we are headed.

AAC includes any tool or strategy that helps someone communicate when verbal speech is difficult or not possible.
