There are so many hearing aids out there!!

But, there are only 7 major manufacturers who make the majority of prescriptive hearing aids sold in the US.

If you are fit with hearing aids that have a name on them other than these 7 listed below, you are buying either a subsidiary brand, a private label device, or a hearing aid made by a smaller manufacturer.

Having hearing aids from one of the major brands provides piece of mind. They have the knowledge, resources, and reasearch and development to build the best devices out there.

The hearing aids are also open. Meaning anyone who is a licensed provider and has an account can potentially work with these products. So if your provider closes or you relocate to a new area or you are on vacation and your hearing aid breaks, you can still get service and care. You will not be stuck with hearing aids that cannot be fixed or programmed.

I could go on and on about this, but I will stop here. Protect your investment, go with a major brand. 👂🩷
