This week, several members of the MHRBUC team attended Ohio’s 2026 Mental Health and Addiction Conference: Inspiring a Stronger Tomorrow, hosted by the Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities.

We are grateful for the chance to connect with colleagues from across the state, learn about emerging initiatives and best practices, and bring new ideas back to Union County.

Thank you to OACBHA, the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, and all of the conference partners for an inspiring and informative conference focused on building a stronger tomorrow. 💚

The Ohio Association of County Behavioral Health Authorities hosted the 16th annual Mental Health and Addicition Conference: Inspiring a Stronger Tomorrow. DBH Director Tia Marcel Moretti joined to give opening remarks and lead a session on the department's new initiatives. Today, we're proud to spotlight our partnership with the Council for Union County Families and the important role they play in supporting children, youth, and families throughout our community.

Council helps families navigate complex challenges, connect with supports, and bring together the right people around the table to create individualized plans for success.

At the heart of their work is a simple belief: families are the experts in their own lives. By building on strengths, honoring family voice and choice, and coordinating support across systems, Council helps ensure that no family has to navigate difficult situations alone.

Because support takes a team — and families belong at the center of every conversation. 💚

Thank you, Council for Union County Families, for your commitment to helping children, youth, and families feel heard, supported, and connected.
