Three years ago, today. I opened the door to my office for the first time.
The key felt unfamiliar in my hand. My heart raced as I turned the lock and stepped inside. The room was empty except for a desk, a chair, and walls waiting to be filled with ideas. It wasn't much, but to me, it felt like a palace.
That first morning, the silence was loud. There were no clients waiting, no phone calls, and no guarantees that I would succeed. All I had was a dream, a notebook full of plans, and the determination to make them real.
The days that followed were not easy. Some weeks brought exciting opportunities; others brought uncertainty and doubt. There were moments when I wondered if I had made the right choice. But every challenge taught me something, and every small victory gave me the courage to keep going.
Today, when I open that same door, I no longer see an empty room. I see the journey it represents—the long hours, the lessons learned, the setbacks overcome, and the successes earned. The office has changed, but so have I.
And every time I walk through that door, I'm reminded that great journeys often begin with a single brave step.
