💧 **Wellness Wednesday: Hydration Matters!** 💧

Did you know older adults are at a higher risk for dehydration? As we age, our sense of thirst can decrease, making it easier to become dehydrated without realizing it.

Staying hydrated can help support:
💙 Healthy brain function and alertness
💙 Digestion and regularity
💙 Kidney and urinary health
💙 Healthy blood pressure
💙 Energy and overall well-being
💙 Fall prevention by reducing dizziness and weakness

**Easy ways to encourage hydration:** Offer water throughout the day, keep drinks within easy reach, and remember that milk, juice, soups, fruits, popsicles, and other foods can also contribute to fluid intake.

At **Village Care Center**, wellness is about the little things we do each day to help our residents feel their best. 💙

🍦 We All Scream for Ice Cream! 🍦

Our Ice Cream Social was the perfect way to sweeten up the afternoon! ❤️ Residents enjoyed some delicious homemade ice cream, plenty of smiles, and even better company.

Sometimes the simplest activities make the sweetest memories. 🍨🥰

We love creating moments like these at Village Care Center! ❤️

🍎🎃🏐 Another Fun-Filled Week at Village Care Center! 🏐🎃🍎

We packed a lot of fun into this week at VCC! ❤️

🍎 We tested our knowledge with Apple Trivia and followed it up with an apple tasting—because learning is always better with a tasty treat!

🎨 We got creative painting and decorating fall pumpkin door hangers to add a little autumn charm to our doors. 🎃🍂

🏐 Things got competitive with a lively game of Balloon Volleyball—lots of laughs, teamwork, and friendly competition!

🎱 And of course, we finished the week strong with everyone’s favorite… BINGO! 🙌

We love keeping our residents active, engaged, creative, and—most importantly—having FUN! ❤️
