We're excited to announce the launch of the official Nodaway County Services LinkedIn page!

For over 50 years, we have been dedicated to helping individuals with developmental disabilities reach their fullest potential through dignity, respect, compassion, and community inclusion.

Our services include Service Coordination, Community Support, Supported Employment, Behavior Services, and Community Living. We provide support that helps individuals build skills, gain independence, and live the life they choose.

We are happy to help this great organization and love that so many people work hard to make an impact in this area. Keep up the hard work!

Who is Unity in Action? We are a 501c3 organization designed to respond to the evolving needs of northwest Missouri communities with integrity and innovation.

One of the ways we respond is with transportation assistance for individuals needing behavioral health support. We have provided 115 rides so far, and counting! Unity in Action is made possible by Nodaway County Services and the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program, as well as the volunteer efforts of many local organizations.

Building Skills One Step at a Time!

Our Individualized Skill Development services help individuals with IDD/DD develop everyday skills that support greater independence, confidence, and participation in their communities.

Whether it's meal planning and cooking, grabbing coffee at Haven Coffee & Goods, learning how to budget, meeting friends at the park, or spending a day at the pool with Maryville Parks & Recreation, we help individuals build confidence, gain independence, and work toward their personal goals.

💚 Mental Health Matters 💚
We had an amazing time celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month with our staff and individuals! From themed games to lots of laughs, it was a day full of positivity, connection, and fun. 😊🎲
Huge shoutout to The Student Body for creating the awesome T-shirts and to Rapid Elite - Ink Print Ship for the banner everyone got to sign! We appreciate your support in helping make this event extra special. 🙌✨
