One of my favorite books to recommend to postpartum moms is Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts by Karen Kleinman. This book contains illustrations that represent common struggles that moms experience during pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I love this book because it helps break down the stigma and shame moms often feel that result in isolation and comparison. Alongside the illustrations, this book also contains ideas and perspectives to help navigate each challenge. If you or someone you know is pregnant or a postpartum mom, this book can be a great resource to feel less alone in motherhood.
