We are happy to announce that Marcie is accepting new clients! Having access to an incredibly kind and skilled medication provider here locally is amazing! Marcie is also now certified in managing pregnant and postpartum patients who may benefit from specialized care during that life transition.
From Marcie- I am open-minded by nature, and clients tell me I listen with respectful curiosity during every visit. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for 10 years, I also draw on my training and many years of experience as a psychotherapist. What looks complicated at first can become easier to understand as we learn more together.
Whatever mental health challenge you (or your child) might be facing, I will use my skills in diagnosis to develop a thorough and specific understanding – which includes respecting your concerns, your culture, and your lifestyle. As treatment moves forward, we will work as a team to adjust plans as needed, including medication, focused therapy, or referrals.
I am professionally comfortable with complexity and a variety of diagnoses. I strongly value the work clients do with therapists and I coordinate psychiatric prescriptions when appropriate. I feel it is a privilege when I earn the trust of clients, family members, and care teams. I see adults and children, who are dealing with challenges such as Depression, Bipolar Illness, Postpartum, Anxiety, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and TBI, I am a certified Infant Mental Health practitioner, and also have limited proficiency in ASL.
