Lisa's Journey to Greater Independence
When Lisa came to Mason Healthcare Center, she faced significant challenges that affected her daily life. She was admitted with multiple wounds following surgeries, requiring specialized care. Weakness and limited mobility made even simple activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, and moving safely from place to place a struggle.
From the moment Lisa arrived, our care team developed a personalized recovery plan focused on healing her wounds, rebuilding her strength, and restoring her independence. Through skilled nursing care, expert wound management, physical and occupational therapy, Lisa worked hard each day toward her goals.
As her wounds healed, Lisa's confidence grew. With the support of our rehabilitation team, she improved her balance, endurance, and ability to walk safely. Occupational therapy helped her regain the skills needed to perform everyday tasks more independently, allowing her to participate in her daily routine with greater ease and confidence.
We are thrilled to celebrate Lisa's successful transition from Mason Healthcare to an assisted living community. Her journey is a testament to her determination, resilience, and positive attitude, as well as the dedication and compassion of our care team.
