Starting Pay $17.21 with mileage reimbursement
Responsibilities-
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure prompt response to any concerns
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
• Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and repositioning
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in accordance with care plans
• Support clients with cognitive impairments by engaging in memory care activities and providing compassionate Alzheimer's or dementia care
• Conduct regular patient monitoring to identify potential issues early and communicate updates to healthcare teams or family members
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in compliance with health standards
Requirements-
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is advantageous
• Excellent patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior promptly
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are often necessary for community-based roles
