Close your eyes and picture a sold-out Jones Beach Theater.

Every single seat.

15,000 sounds like just a number... until you try to imagine every face. The face of someone's mother, father, daughter, son, friend...

To put it in perspective, 15,000 people is every seat at Jones Beach filled. It's two and a half Radio City Music Halls. One and a half Red Rocks. Three quarters of Madison Square Garden.

That's how many patients we've helped since 2018.

Every one of them sat outside feeling nervous about coming in, unsure of what to expect. Each one a real person who showed up on some of the hardest days of their life, and found a team that truly had their back... no judgment, just people who wanted to help them make it through.

Recovery Dharma starts from a simple but radical idea:
That suffering has a cause, and that cause can be understood, worked with, and ultimately released.

It's a different kind of recovery path… one rooted in meditation, compassion, and Buddhist wisdom. And it's changing the way people think about what recovery can look like.

Where many approaches focus on what you need to stop doing, Recovery Dharma focuses on who you could become.

The program is built around the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path: ancient principles that help people understand the roots of their suffering, develop a daily meditation practice, and build a genuine community of people walking the same path.

Every Saturday morning Satmo Sangha, our weekly Recovery Dharma meeting, is open to everyone - whether you're in treatment, post-treatment, or simply looking for a community rooted in mindfulness and shared purpose.

It doesn't matter what you're recovering from. Substances, process addictions, codependency, eating disorders, or any pattern of behavior that's creating suffering in your life. Recovery Dharma welcomes all of it.

And yet, it's often treated like a character flaw, weakness, or choice.

Stigma around addiction can be just as damaging as the condition itself. And so millions of people find themselves silently carrying shame for something they never chose in the first place.

But shame doesn’t heal people. You know what does? Understanding, compassion, and access to real, judgment-free care.

Major health organizations now classify addiction as a chronic brain disorder - not a moral failing, lack of willpower, or choice. It’s an actual medical condition that changes the way someone’s brain functions. And it deserves to be treated like one.

If you've ever been made to feel like your struggle is your fault, this is your reminder that it isn't. And we’ll keep reminding you and everyone else over and over until it sticks. Because you didn’t choose this, and we know that.

You deserve the same access to care, compassion, and support as anyone else with a chronic health condition.

Anthony Pope, our Hicksville security guard, is participating in the Wounded Warrior Project Soldier Ride in Babylon on July 17, 2026 and he's created Team Victory Recovery Partners in our honor.

The Wounded Warrior Project supports veterans and service members who have been wounded in the line of duty. And we couldn't be more proud to have our name behind this cause.

A person in crisis doesn't just need one provider.

They need a whole system…

A doctor who recognizes the signs early. A judge who understands that treatment works better than incarceration. An outpatient program ready to receive them. A mental health provider who can support what's underneath. A community organization that helps with housing, employment, and getting back on their feet.

But most of the time, these systems don't talk to each other. And that can make recovery an incredibly challenging, frustrating, and downright lonely process. It doesn’t exactly help someone succeed with ease.

So last week, we changed that.

We hosted Victory Ignite and brought together courts, doctors, addiction treatment centers, mental health providers, and community organizations for the first time in one room, led by us.

Not to bore them with long presentations, but to build real relationships and create direct connections. So that when someone needs help, the people trying to help them actually know each other.

Because "No One Left Behind" isn't just about what happens inside our walls. It's about making sure there's a path forward at every point in the journey.

We're planning to make this bi-annual. Because the work doesn't stop here.
