Yesterday was my first day volunteering at a local rehab/sanctuary for birds of prey & other wild birds. Most of the time I disemboweled and cut up animals for them to eat, which wasn’t fun, but necessary. I also got to help a massive bald eagle who got hit by a car and is sick. I was told to prepare for a fight (she needed to be taken out of her cage for medicine and to clean the cage - my job), because she’s very aggressive and spicy (as she should be - that’s how they survive). I decided to quickly do Phoenix Vibrational Healing for the eagle’s energy to align with calmness. The encounter went great for all involved - she was not hostile or aggressive, but almost docile. It was special for me to work so closely with such a majestic and dangerous creature that I love, and be able to help. Being of service is one of the reasons we are alive, and what we do matters.
