Why is it that tongue tie causes so many issues? Here is a diagram showing the fascia starting at the base of the tongue and going all the way to the toes. If it is tight, imagine all the dysfunction. Difficulty elevating the tongue appropriately for proper breastfeeding, spine curvature, babies struggling with tummy time and crawling. It is incredible to see over and over again how releasing the fascia at the base of the tongue helps almost every baby I work with. Thank you for this fantastic diagram!
