Patricia Ann Dearfield, age 64, of Mooresburg, TN, formerly of Matewan, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, May 23, 2026, while an inpatient in the University of Tennessee Medical Center of Knoxville, TN. Born on January 20, 1962, She was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Gloria Baird.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Dearfield; and her brothers, Kenneth and David Baird.

Patricia was a retired cosmetologist and was a cosmetology instructor for Vogue. She lived her life with a simple motto: never take yourself too seriously and never be afraid to express yourself. Her daughters fondly remember her blue mascara, ever-changing hairstyles, and love she had for psychedelic cat clothing from Temu. Patricia’s generosity was quiet but impactful. She contributed to the community candy stash at church and ensured the children's department always had new games. Known for slipping a $20 to strangers, her kindness touched many lives. Her grandkids will miss the random junk bags full of all the stuff their parents would never buy, but she knew they wanted. They will never forget that she was always down for a game of “who could make the best funny face” and was always the first to give someone bunny ears in pictures.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Josh) Addair of Mooresburg, TN, and Paige (Derrick) Robinette of Mohawk, TN. Her grandchildren whom she adored Noah and Israel Addair, Emily Bowens, and Chloe Robinette.

“Her children arise and call her blessed.”-Proverbs 31:28

Roberta Ann Moore, 63, of Matewan, WV went from labor to reward on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 while an inpatient in the St. Mary’s Medical Center of Huntington, WV, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, love, compassion, and community. Born on May 15, 1963, she was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Neal Moore Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Moore. Roberta lived a life that reflected her deep love for Jesus, her family, and all those fortunate enough to know her.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Larry Moore; and her sisters, Contessa Phillips and Elizabeth Moore.

From an early age, Roberta’s faith was an important part of her life. She was raised in the church and attended New Bethel Baptist Church, where she faithfully served on the Junior Choir. Later in life, she became a member of Christ Temple Church.

Roberta attended Matewan High School before entering the workforce, where she spent many hardworking years employed with McDonald's and Walmart. She worked tirelessly, always carrying herself with strength and perseverance.

Above all else, Roberta cherished her family. She was a loving mother to her children, Della and James (Alicia), and an adoring “TeeTee” to her five precious grandchildren: Antwan, Cameron, Christian, MaKayla, and Shayla who brought endless joy and light into her life. Roberta also opened her heart and home to many children throughout the years, serving as a loving caregiver, protector, and safe place for anyone in need of comfort and care. She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers: Rev. Joseph Moore of Williamson, WV; Prince Moore of Charleston, WV; Bobby (Christine) Moore of Erlangen, Germany; Edward (Alecia) Moore of Columbus, IN; Robert Jr. (Gloria) Moore of Williamson, WV; and Peter (Kimberly) Moore of Ripley, WV; and her sister, Mary Tucker of Huntington, WV. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. Although not related by blood, Skeeter (Denise) Runyon of Delbarton, WV, Lisa (Dana) Crum of Delbarton, WV, Dennis (Martha) Paige of Williamson, WV, Teresa Diamond of Williamson WV, Ron (Jeanette) Joplin of Williamson, WV, Donna Joplin of Red Jacket, WV, Bruce Akers of Kermit, WV, were deeply loved and cherished by Roberta and the Moore family.

Roberta had a gift for bringing people together, especially through food. Her love could often be felt in every family gathering, every warm meal shared, and in the special dishes she proudly helped create alongside her son through Hungry University. Beyond her cooking, Roberta possessed a rare and beautiful ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Her kindness, warmth, humor, and welcoming spirit made everyone feel seen, loved, and valued.

Though this chapter of her story has come to an end, the love and light Roberta shared during her time on Earth leaves behind a legacy that will continue for generations to come.

True friendship is one of life’s greatest blessings, and Roberta was fortunate to have dear friends who stood beside her through the years. Her children are forever grateful for the love, support, and friendship shown to their mother by Sharon Joplin, Sasha Blackwell-Allen, Garrett New, Sarah Pack, Nellie Caudill, Mary Davis, Jennifer Johnson, Nekah Blackmon, Ronnie and Melanie Maynard, Tammy Mosley, Sis. Deborah Moore, Adriana Fields-Hackney, and Rachel Roberts.. and many others.

Roberta's family would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of DaVita Dialysis South Williamson and Eastern Kentucky for the incredible love, compassion, and care they provided Roberta throughout her 17-year dialysis journey. Your care went far beyond treatment; you cared for her as a person, and for that, we will be forever thankful.

Roberta will be remembered for her faith, her generous heart, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
