Mrs. Sandy was sharing information about celebrating Sukkot. This is a joy filled holiday that is basically Jewish Thanksgiving, and it lasts all week! You get to enjoy meals with friends and family in a sukkah. It has been so much fun learning about her culture, we can hardly wait for Hanukkah!

We would like to thank Mahika from Troop 219 for choosing our community as the site of her Eagle Scout Project.
She designed a beautiful garden area for our residents to enjoy, complete with a lovely birdbath and flowering plants that will provide seeds for local birds to forage. Mahika also created informational materials about the species we can look forward to seeing there.
